Marcus J. Mostmans, CTO & Founder
Marcus spearhead of the product development team. During his 18 years tenure in Philips Research Eindhoven, Marcus was assigned to its R&D Physics Lab where he acquired firsthand knowledge in numerous disciplines of electronics engineering including mass spectrometer, gas chromatography, electron and polarization microscopy, and more. His last position in Philips was Senior Engineer (Special Assignment) reporting directly to Executive Officer.
In 1981, he setup his own consultancy, Intelligent Process System (IPS), where he pioneered OEM production of then IBM compatibles in Taiwan, and use of MCUs for automation in manufacturing from coffee filter, to surfboard duplication, to laser card readers. In 1999, he co-founded CCtronics in Hong Kong. Among CCtronic’s first projects included a portable electronic payment terminal for the EU market. Marcus also holds several patents filed in Europe. These include:
∙Electronics ballast with GTO (Gate Turn-Off Thyristor)
∙Fast chopping multiplying camera
∙Face-to-face chip stacking without bonding
∙Room temperature bonding of stack chips (patent pending)
Nick H. Kwok, Co-founder
Nick has more than 3 decades of international marketing in consumer electronics, especially in both display and wireless communication industries. He is well versed in all aspects of OEM/ODM engineering from CNC machining to casting and extrusion as well as numerous product developments from initial conceptual evaluation to prototype through to overseeing its mass production. Before moving on to R&D, he serves Truly Semiconductors, Canon, BenQ, Konica Minolta, and Shenzhen Tongfong. As a company co-founder, mk2i.org is able to tap on his vast experience for the product’s components design from assuring quality to costs-time commitment.
Nick was with Rokura New Energy as Project Manager. He holds a Degree from America, and Diplomas in both China Business Administration from Shenzhen, and Civil Engineering from Hong Kong.
